Ted DiBiase Jr.Ted DiBiase Jr., former WWE wrestler and son of "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase Sr., appeared in federal court to answer for multiple charges he was indicted on. He pled not guilty to one charge of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and to commit theft concerning programs receiving federal funds, six charges of wire fraud, two charges of theft concerning programs receiving federal funds, and four charges of money laundering. (PWI) Here's an excerpt from the press release about it on Thursday: "A federal indictment was unsealed today in Mississippi charging a former professional wrestler with misappropriating millions of dollars in federal safety-net funds intended for needy families and low-income individuals in Mississippi.  According to court documents, Theodore Marvin DiBiase Jr., 40, of Madison, along with co-conspirators John Davis, Christi Webb, Nancy New, and others, are alleged to have fraudulently obtained federal funds - including from The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) and the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program - that they misappropriated for their own personal use and benefit. Davis was the executive director of the Mississippi Department of Human Services (MDHS). As part of the alleged scheme, after federal funds were issued to MDHS, Davis directed MDHS to subgrant the funds to two nonprofit organizations, Family Resource Center of North Mississippi Inc. (FRC) and Mississippi Community Education Center (MCEC), which were operated by Webb and New, respectively. Davis then allegedly directed Webb and New to award sham contracts to various individuals and entities purportedly for the delivery of social services, including at least five sham contracts that were awarded to DiBiase's companies, Priceless Ventures LLC and Familiae Orientem LLC." We'll update you as the case moves on.

If that legal revelation doesn't already have your head spinning, get ready for one that's absolutely going to blow your mind. We've been covering the saga of Trenesha Biggers f/k/a Rhaka Khan dating back to 2019, with charges of custodial child interference and aggravated kidnapping following her through the courts, with numerous postponements every time anything seemed like it was anywhere near happening in the case. In response to this Biggers filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York back in 2022. She alleges a conspiracy against her of both monumental and absurd proportions, blaming everyone from Michael Jordan to Chris Benoit for "conspiring to kidnap her children." I'm not joking. There are 48 pages in her lawsuit, with many of the people she accused being listed multiple times -- here's a short list of defendants: "The State of Texas, The El Paso Child Protective Services, the FBI, The Las Cruces, New Mexico Police Department, The NYPD, The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, New York ACS, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., Shirley Police Department, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Suffolk County NY, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, The Miz and Maryse, Heath Miller, Nikki Bella, Chris Benoit, Mark Jindrak, Panda Energy (defunct owners of TNA), Home Depot, Florida Championship Wrestling (defunct), Steve Keirn, The NWA, Billy Corgan, Deep South Wrestling (defunct), Bank of America, Michael Jordan, several universities, Jim Cornette, Mick Foley, and New York City area energy company Con Edison." In this interview Penelope Pink talks about being the WOW champion: "There almost is no words. It's six and a half years of blood, sweat, and tears for this absolute great honor to hold the WOW World Title. I am the eighth woman to be in the spotlight and be the champion of this company, and I'm so thankful that WOW is getting such a great spotlight and opportunity thanks to Jeanie Buss and David McLane and AJ Mendez and Selina Majors to really put forth women's wrestling and being spotlighted on syndicated television. And I'm going to go out there and like I said from day one, I said I was the best damn thing that WOW's ever seen. And every week I go out there and I show them why I meant it, and I prove everybody wrong."

Matt Hardy says to expect some twists in his feud with The Firm: "We already have an idea of a way to take the current story once it ends with The Firm. I think it's going to make a lot of people that have enjoyed our story through and through happy. We're calling this match The Firm Deletion. I think it really is going to be the deletion of The Firm when it's all said and done. There are a couple of ideas; obviously, Jeff is back, so we're going to be delving into the tag team scene and we're going to be looking to try and find our way back up the mountain to get another shot at the AEW World Tag Team Titles, and we do have a couple of ideas about directions that we could go out of that. There's going to be a little twist, I think, where the Hardy Party he's going to be evolving and changing a little bit. I think it's going to be a small handful of guys that are still going to be associated with myself and Jeff. Maybe the Hardy Party is our faction's name."

This week's AEW Dynamite did 830,000 viewers, down from 866,000 the week before. The 18-49 demo held steady at 0.28. (SBD)

From Impact Wrestling: "At Rebellion, Steve Maclin defeated KUSHIDA to become IMPACT World Champion for the very first time. But during his Changing of the Guard Ceremony, Maclin revealed that his mission would not be complete until he defeated a Canadian in their home country of Canada, just like he planned to do to Josh Alexander. Maclin laid out an open challenge to any Canadian, and it was answered by perhaps the most frightening Canadian on the entire IMPACT roster, PCO. With IMPACT President Scott D'Amore backing him up, Perfect Creation One demolished Maclin's personal security force, sending a threatening message to the new IMPACT World Champion. Now Maclin and PCO are set to collide at Under Siege in a monstrous main event. What will happen when these two explosive forces go head-to-head with the IMPACT World Title on the line? The stars of IMPACT Wrestling will be Under Siege LIVE May 26th from the Western Fair District Agriplex in London, Ontario streaming on IMPACT Plus, YouTube for IMPACT Ultimate Insiders and FITE. Tickets are on-sale now at Eventbrite.ca."
