Mon. #2 is HERE. To help out the site subscribe to Mistah MegaManFan or support us on Patreon. With the cheap plugs out of the way here's Tuesday's latest wrestling news!

Phil BrooksGiven Raw was in Chicago last night you probably won't be surprised to know that Phil "CM Punk" Brooks was there to visit. Despite previous acrimony with WWE he was "warmly received" by people who hadn't seen him in years, and even reportedly spoke to The Miz to "clear the air" over some issues they had in the past. He also spoke to Triple H for a little bit. Ultimately a security person (who may or may not have been instructed to do so by Vince McMahon) asked Punk to leave and he did so quietly without incident. (PWI) (FF)

Mercedes Mone's contract extension reportedly (as of right now) only lasts through NJPW Resurgence on May 21st in Long Beach, although both sides are happy with their relationship and amenable to working together more. (FF)

Last night on Raw, Triple H announced that having a part time champion who isn't around to defend his title is a problem, so he's relaunching the World Heavyweight Title. Whatever show Roman Reigns gets drafted to, he will remain there as the Universal champion, while a new World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned at Night of Champions. (WWE)

This may or may not have any effect on WWE but it's still worth nothing that NBCUniversal CEO Jeff Shell has been forced out of the company: "Comcast today announced that the Company and Jeff Shell, Chief Executive Officer of NBCUniversal, have mutually agreed that Mr. Shell will depart effective immediately following the Company's investigation led by outside counsel into a complaint of inappropriate conduct. Mr. Shell said, 'Today is my last day as CEO of NBCUniversal. I had an inappropriate relationship with a woman in the company, which I deeply regret. I'm truly sorry I let my Comcast and NBCUniversal colleagues down, they are the most talented people in the business and the opportunity to work with them the last 19 years has been a privilege.'"

SANADA talks about being the IWGP World Champion: "I'm only at the start line now. I've been in NJPW for seven years, and I even took the tryout way back in 2005. It's only now I've become IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. So I'm walking proof that if you don't give up you can achieve your dreams."

Apparently the reason The Dyad weren't released from WWE is WWE refused to give it to them so they have to wait until their deals expire.

Chavo Guerrero says Rey Mysterio should stop referencing Eddie so much.
