NXT 2.0

Written by Nickolye

It's the final major stop on the road to WrestleMania, but for NXT they have one more Roadblock in their way. Bron Breakker and The Creed Brothers face Indus Sher in a 6-man tag team match. Roxanne Perez defends her NXT Women's Championship against the legendary Meiko Satomura. Gigi Dolin wants revenge against her former friend Jacy Jayne. Grayson Waller calls out "HBK" Shawn Michaels. And so much more will go down before we get to Stand & Deliver, tonight on NXT!

We open with Tiffany Stratton giving her "Tiffany's Epiphonies" which is basically her running down what to expect in tonight's show. Vic Joseph and Booker T are the commentators for the show.

* Jailhouse Street Fight: Tony D'Angelo vs. Dijak

Channing "Stacks" Tatum comes out with "The Don" Tony D'Angelo for this match which has no countouts, no disqualifications, and the only way to win is to put the opponent inside of a jailhouse and close the door. The last time these two men battled, Dijak dislocated his finger. Dijak hits Stacks with a nightstick after the bell, and then battles with D'Angelo for the nightstick. D'Angelo delivers a belly-to-belly on the floor, brings him to the jailhouse cell, throws him in, Dijak blocks the door, throws D'Angelo in, and D'Angelo blocks the door now. Stacks is back up to check on D'Angelo, and gets a chair thrown at him. Back in the ring, Dijak hits the High Justice sit-out chokeslam on a steel chair, then throws MORE CHAIRS into the ring! Dijak whacks him on the back with a chair several times, lays numerous chairs on top of Tony, goes up top, but D'Angelo cuts him off with a chair to the back and delivers a release belly-to-back superplex onto the pile of chairs!

We get our first commercial break with picture-in-picture, as D'Angelo is in control, but not for long as Dijak blocks a powerbomb with the nightstick to the face. Dijak kicks Stacks for good measure to keep him down, then pleases the crowd by bringing out a table. D'Angelo comes back for a fight, throws him at the jail, but Dijak won't stay in and blocks the door from closing. D'Angelo blocks the choke slam by the table, Dijak clobbers him with clubbing blows, and picks him up on his shoulders.

When we come back full screen, D'Angelo got back on his feet, but Dijak knocks him down onto the table (which starts to buckle already) and finishes the job with a SPRINGBOARD ELBOW DROP THROUGH THE TABLE!! Dijak puts him in the jail, D'Angelo blocks the door, Dijak is close, but D'Angelo grabs Dijak's broken finger and slams him down on the floor! Stacks holds the door open for The Don, but Dijak grabs Stacks as he's thrown in, D'Angelo hesitates, so Dijak kicks the door into D'Angelo's face, and boots Stacks over the barricade! D'Angelo fights back, throws Dijak into the steel steps, hits him in the back with a chair, throws him at the jail, Dijak hits a lowblow, hits Feast Your Eyes, drags him into the jail, and closes the door but Stacks sacrifices himself to block it! Dijak hits Stacks with Feast Your Eyes on Stacks, D'Angelo starts hitting Dijak with a crowbar, slams the door on Dijak's head, and shuts it for the win! WINNER: TONY D'ANGELO!

On the replays, we see Stacks bringing the crowbar in as he sacrificed himself, and Tony D celebrates with Stacks post-match.

Roxanne Perez is interviewed backstage, she says she's nervous, she wants to get the victory, and calls this her biggest title defense. She feels she needs to walk into Stand & Deliver as the champion, but even though she's anxious and nervous, she's ready to beat her legendary opponent. Speaking of champions, NXT Tag Team Champions Gallus get ready for a segment after the break.

When we come back, Josh Briggs talks to Kiana James about how much he cares about Fallon Henley and Brooks Jensen. He tries to talk her into connecting with Brooks so he can feel better.

The NXT Tag Team Champions Gallus are in the ring, and they call out Pretty Deadly to the ring. Pretty Deadly are in the balcony, they make fun of them, and they want the championships. Gallus dare them to come and take the titles, Pretty Deadly actually come down to the ring, and the fight is on! Gallus stand tall in the ring while P.D. decide they've had enough.

We get a video of Lyra Valkyria wants to be next to compete for the NXT Women's Championship after tonight's match. Breaktime. After the break, we get a video package from Ilya Dragunov talking about JD McDonagh saying he will never break his will. DRAGON LEE is in the crowd!

* The Creed Brothers & Bron Breakker {NXT Champion} vs. Indus Sher & Jinder Mahal

The fight breaks out as soon as all three men are in the ring and they all do battle on the floor! Soon as Veer Mahaan and Bron Breakker are in the ring, the bell dings to start the match. Veer is in control early but Bron soon hits a clothesline full-speed. Julius Creed tags in, hits a belly-to-belly suplex, Brutus Creed tags in, Julius gutwrench suplexes Brutus onto Veer, Brutus gets a 1-count, Veer fights back and tags out. Jinder goes to a suplex, but Brutus blocks it, suplexes Mahal, makes the tag to the champ, so Jinder tags out instead. The Creed Brothers step in, Brutus hits Mahal with a German suplex, Julius delivers an exploder suplex to Mahaan, then all three men hit somersault dives onto all three of Indus Sher!

We get picture-in-picture here, Breakker brings Sanga back into the ring, Julius tags in, Sanga brings him to his corner, Julius tries to fight back, Jinder pulls him out the ring, and Veer gives him a body slam on the floor. Jinder gets the tag, throws him back in for a 2-count, then proceeds to hit springboard kneedrops and tags back out. Veer and Sanga double-team him, Sanga gets a 2-count, Veer tags in, Jinder tags in, they triple-team him, Veer hits a jumping elbow drop, and Jinder covers for 2. Jinder blocks a tag, boots him in the face, and gets another 2-count. Sanga tags in, applies a modified cobra clutch, and Julius fights out.

When we come back full-screen, Julius is fighting back, but Sanga gives him a hiptoss, but Jinder misses a kneedrop after he tags in. Carmelo Hayes has joined commentary during the break for this match. Jinder ducks an enzuigiri, hits a running high knee, 2-count, and puts him in the camel clutch. Julius battles out, lands on his feet from a suplex, and makes the hot tag to his brother. Brutus takes down Veer, hits a spinebuster, clubbing blows to the chest, knocks Jinder down, Veer drops him, Sanga tags in, blocks a suplex, shoves him into Breakker, Brutus hits a jumping Brutus Ball, and suplexes the big man! Brutus hits a flipping senton, Bron tags in for a diving moonsault, and Julius tagged in for the 450 Splash! Veer breaks the count, Sanga clotheslines Julius, Veer tags in for the double team, makes the covers, and Breakker breaks the count. * The Grayson Waller Effect w/ guest Shawn Michaels

The crowd sings HBK's song preventing Waller from going on with his schtick. Waller says he was excited as a 10-year old boy, but he says it was a mistake and should've been a Bret Hart fan. HBK says they used to be on good terms. Waller doesn't care who he offends or what anyone thinks of him. He says HBK is like Vince now, claiming that he's being held back. HBK takes offense, reminds him that he lost at Vengeance Day in the cage match, and that's all on him. He knows he wants to blame everybody in the company but he should blame the man in the mirror. Waller claims that HBK has his position because HHH had a heart attack when we was in charge. HBK tells him that after the fact, he is now the one steering the ship, Waller says the ship is heading to an iceberg, and assumes that after WrestleMania, his name will be next on the list to get cut. HBK lists a whole slew of names from NXT that took this company to new heights and moved on to Raw and SmackDown, then says this new crop of superstars are the future including Waller. They continue to go back and forth until Waller gets frustrated and says he is "sick of NXT" and wants to be known as the biggest star. HBK finally cuts him off defending the NXT brand, Waller dares him to do something about it, and challenges him to a match at Stand & Deliver. HBK removes his jacket, reminds us that everybody has been asking him for a dream match for the past 10 years, and Waller is no different. "Nothing would thrill me more than to whip your ass at Stand & Deliver. But the reality is there's somebody who wants to whip your ass a hell of a lot more than I do, and he bleeds NXT more than me." HBK tells Waller that he will have a match at Stand & Deliver, and his opponent is JOHNNY GARGANO!!! Gargano is stepping back into NXT for the first time his Waller hit him in the back with a steel chair on his final night! Johnny Wrestling rushes the ring and chases Waller out running scared! Jacy suckers her in for a big punch, brings out a steel chair, and Gigi disarms her before a commercial break.

We're getting picture-in-picture here as well, and Gigi throws her former tag partner into the barricade, against the ring, and back into it for a 2-count. Jacy attacks her after the bell, unhappy with her loss, she grabs the chair, and screams "You little bitch!" Several referee stop her from Pillman-izing Dolin with the chair.

Backstage, Fallon is with Brooks and they apologize to each other. Brooks wants to know what she said, and he's excited when she calls. They realize that the flowers sent to Kiana James did NOT come from Brooks, and they wonder what they should do.

NXT Champion Bron Breakker comes out unscheduled, says he was supposed to come out next week to talk, but feels now is the time. Breakker mentions NXT: Stand & Deliver, and calls out Carmelo Hayes to come to the ring. Hayes agrees it is time, says they are he two biggest stars in NXT, and they both want this match. Breakker says every time he had a new challenger, he was disappointed that it wasn't Melo's music that played. They've kept tabs on each other, watching out for each other, they remember both HHH and HBK picking the two of them as the future of NXT, and they compliment each other. Now it's time for their paths to cross, they feel the time is right, and they agree to this title match at Stand & Deliver.
