It's my unfortunate duty to bring you the latest Phil "CM Punk" Brooks news. Punk has been in contact with AEW over the last week and the talks have been "productive," which has led people to believe that the situation will be worked out and that he'll be at the first episode of Collision. Talent have not been given their travel plans for June 17th though, so until AEW announces the United Center in Chicago for the first show (presumably on Dynamite tonight) it's all still up in the air. Daily's Place in Jacksonville has been mentioned as a backup plan if the talks with Punk fall through. AEW apparently sent Punk some documents to sign recently but they were not "legal threats" as some reports have implied -- they were simply lining up his scheduled dates and going over disparagement clauses. You know, no more saying that the people who started the company couldn't run a Target in Reseda let alone a wrestling promotion, stuff like that. (FF)
