ORLANDO, FL (October 10, 2024) - CES Boxing and Boxlab Promotions are excited to announce a co-promotional partnership with top jr. welterweight contender Jamaine "The Technician" Ortiz (17-2-1, 8 KOs).

Ortiz's first fight under the new agreement will take place on Boxlab Promotions' popular "Night of Champions" card, scheduled for November 1, 2024, at the Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando, Florida. The event will be televised live worldwide on DAZN.

Ortiz will face battle tested Mexican warrior, Gilberto Espinoza (13-2, 8 KOs), from Tijuana, MX, in a 10-round main event bout for the WBA Continental USA Jr. Welterweight title, setting the stage for a classic Puerto Rico vs. Mexico showdown. This fight represents a pivotal moment in Ortiz's career, as he looks to reestablish his standing in the jr. welterweight division.
