We start out this evening's show with a tribute to Arnold Skaaland, who passed away this past week. Gosh, I hope we don't see any more of these anytime soon.

We then go to a recap of ECW Champion Bobby Lashley's appearance on WWE Monday Night RAW, becoming the first man to ever break Chris Masters' Masterlock Challenge. we then get a promo from Chris Masters. He says that Lashley will pay tonight, Masters will break Lashley in half. After the opening montage, were coming from Cleveland, OH at the Quicken Loans Arena. WTF?? QUICKEN LOANS ARENA?!? This corporate branding shit is outrageous, I tell you. Tonight we will see Lashley in a non-title match against Masters, but we go right to our opening spot!

Rob Van Dam & Sabu vs. "The Alpha Male" Marcus Cor Von & Kevin Thorn (w/ Ariel)

RVD & Sabu enter the arena first to RVD's music. Cor Von, Thorn & Ariel make their entrance. Sno more smoky entrance for Thorn, but thank GOD Ariel still hangs upside down off the ropes to hold them open for Thorn. Hm, is Taz actually rooting for the New Breed? Joey Styles things so, but Taz says that it's the role of the old guard to pave the way for the new guys, and the New Breed are bringing out the best in the EcW Originals right now.

We start off with RVD and Thorn, Thorn takes a swing, misses, but catches RVD with a back elbow, a boto to the gut, whips him off the ropes and ducks. RVD rolls over, spins Thorn around, kick in the head, off the ropes with a spinning heel kick, tags to Sabu. RVD whips Thorn in the corner, sets up for Sabu to launch off him into Air Sabu on Thorn in the corner, Sabu whips Thorn into another kick from RVD, then RVD lifts Sabu into a legdrop on Thorn, Sabu covers for a two count. Sabu up and punching, Thorn retaliates with a knee to the gut and a club to the back, picks up Sabu, Sabu wiggles out, dropkick to the knees, legdrop, pin attempt. Sabu tags back to RVD, with a kick to the arm. RVD whips Thorn into a corner, Thorn reverses, RVD tries to leap out, Thorn chatches him on his shoulders, RVD wiggles out and tries for another wheel lick but Thorn hangs him up on the ropes, Cor Von with a clothesline on the apron to take RVD out. Sabu checks on RVD, RVD gets back in, Thorn grabs him by the neck, tags Cor Von, Cor Von with stomps on the ribs of RVD. Cor Von with a pair of backbreakers, then hooks the leg for a pin attempt, two-count. Cor Von headbutts RVD in the corner, tags in Thorn, Thorn with a splash and a clothesline on RVD, covers, two-count.

Thorn transitions into a reverse chinlock on RVD in the middle of the ring. RVD elbows out, Thorn pulls him by the hair, tags Cor Von, who jumps on RVD with a club, then punches Sabu. Cor Von with a bodyslam into a reverse chinlock on RVD in the middle of the ring. RVD tries to elbow out several times, instead goes for a kick, tags Sabu, and Sabu clears house, clothesline off the middele buckle, slingshot leg lariat, springboard DDT all on Cor Von. Sabu covers, Thorn breaks it up, RVD takes Thorn out. Cor Von interferes, gets a windmill kick. RVD takes Thorn outside with a headscissor takeover. Sabu lays in punches on Cor Von, whips Cor Von off the ropes, gets reversed, Sabu grabs the ropes. Thorn grabs him by the hair to stop him after Cor Von takes an elbow to the mush from Sabu. But with Sabu distracted, that sets up MONTY BROWN WITH THE POOOOOUUUUUUUNNNCE~! Cor Von covers Sabu and gets the 1-2-3 to end the match.

Gene Snitsky vs. Mike Tolar

We go to commercial with a highlight promo for Snitsky, come back from commercial with Snitsky entering the ring, Tolar is already in the ring. We lock up, Snitsky pushes Tolar to the ropes and chokes him, ref has to break it. Snitsky with a slap, Tolar with a side headlock, Snitsky picks him up and shoves him into the buckle, catches him with a boot to the face on the rebound, Snitsky covers and gets the win.

Well, fuck, I guess that means he won't be interrupting the Extreme Expose this week.

So Monday Night on RAW, the somehow forgot to run the clip for the next inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame. But we do it tonight, and how fucking appropriate -- IT'S THE SHEIK~! The original Sheik, Edward Farhat. Sabu's uncle, and most notably the trainer of Rob Van Dam. A 12-time NWA United States Heavyweight Champion. The pioneer of hardcore. That's fucking awesome. Commercial.

C.M. Punk vs. Hardcore Holly

Punk makes his entrance as we come back from commercial. Punk is featured in Spin Magazine this month talking about his music listening preferences. Holly enters next. Gawd, remember when he was Thurmond "Sparky" Plugg? He'll never live that shit down *hee*.

Bell rings and these two circle the ring, lock up, Holly with a side headlock. Punk whips him off the ropes, Holly with a shoulder tackle to take Punk down. Holly off the ropes again, Punk with a hiptoss, Holly kicks him off, gets up and Punk catches him with an armdrag into an armbar. Elijah Burke comes out to ringside to watch. Holly punches Punk in th ehead several times, whips him off the ropes, Punk reverses, another armdrag into a kick to Holly's back. Punk catches a glance of Burke at ringside. Punk with forearms into Holly, puts him in the corner, sets up and gets into a 5-count round of punches. Ref breaks, Punk goes to approach Holly, Holly picks him up and drapes him neck-first across the ropes. Holly then chokes Punk on the ropes, ref breaks it, Holly punches, puts Punk in the corner, lays in a knife-edge chop and a club to the back. Holly chokes Punk on the middle rope again.

Punk fires back with forearms and elbows, whips Holly off the ropes, ducks, Holly kicks him in the face, follows with a clothesline, covers and gets a two count from referee Scott Armstrong, then goes into a reverse headlock submission. Punk powers his way up, elbows out, off the ropes, Holly catches him with the reverse elbow. Holly sets up punk for a snap suplex, covers and gets a two-count. Holly with a STIFF club to the back of Punk's head. Punk goes to a corner, they trade blows, Holly gets the upper-hand. Holly whips Punk out of the corner, charges, gets a boot to the face from Punk, Punk follows up with a clothesline, a back elbow smash, whips Holly off the ropes and a dropkick, covers, two-count. Elijah Burke gets closer to ringside. Punk pick sup Holly, whips him in a corner, hits the high knee to the head, goes for the bulldog but Holly pushes him into the corner. Punk goes for the leap over, Holly catches him, tries for the Alabama Slam, but Punk holds the ropes. Holly just kicks Punk in the abdomen instead, another boot to the gut, and Holly puts him up on the top turnbuckle. Holly climbs up, tries for a superplex, Punk blocks it, Holly punches back, Punk with a big punch takes Holly down. Punk sets up for a legdrop off the middle turnbuckle and gets it.

Elijah Burke gets up on the apron and offers the referee a towel. Punk goes over wanting to know what happened, tying up the referee in the process. Kevin Thorn comes out of the crowd, grabs Hardcore Holly from behind and snaps his neck over the rope! Punk turns around just in time to see it, but lets it pass. Punk sets up Holly for "Go To Sleep", that nasty knee to the face from the gorilla press, and gets the win. Afterwards, Punk stares down Burke and Thorn, apparently not happy with their interference, and then go to break.

Back from commercial, Punk and Burke are backstage. Punk gets in Burke's face and tells him that he didn't need any help. Burke says he recognizes that, but he reminds Burke that the New Breed take care of their own. He reminds Punk of what the New breed could do for Punk at WrestleMania 23 in the "Money in the Bank" match.

Time for Extreme Expose. Normally, I just skip past this, but this week I don't have to, because they have such shitty lighting that you can't see a fucking thing!

Tommy Dreamer (w/ Sandman) vs. Elijah Burke (w/ Matt Striker)

Dreamer & Sandman enter first, we recap last week's New Breed vs. ECW Orig battle royal where Dreamer took out Striker and Burke to win it. We go to break, come back to catch Burke & Striker hitting the ring. we get to the bell, our men circle, Burke with a boot to the midsection, a pair of punches, a knee to the midsection, whips Dreamer off the ropes, Dreamer reverses and catches Burke with a hiptoss, Burke rolls out. Dreamer goes out and chases Burke down, throws him back in the ring. Dreamer grabs Burke as he's getting back in and tries to set up for a suplex of some sort over the ropes, but Burke holds the rope to block it, knee to the gut, punch to the solarplexus, then rams Dreamer's head into the steel ringpost. Burke drags Dreamer in, covers, one-count, and goes into a reverse chinlock. Dreamer powers up, elbows out, Burke cuts him off with a club, whips him off the ropes, Dreamer ducks a clothesline, hits a hangman's neckbreaker. Burke is up first, grabs Dreamer, but Dreamer fires with a bevy of punches, whips Burke off the ropes, Burke ducks a clotheslien, goes for a cross-body block, Dreamer catches him and nails a fallaway slam.

Dreamer hangs Burke up in the corner in a Tree of Woe, Dreamer charges and nails a dropkick as Burke tries to sit up and get out of it. Dreamer goes for a DDT as Burke gets down, but Burke hangs on to the top rope to break it. Burke pulls down the kneepads as Dreamer is recovering in the corner, charges and hits Dreamer right in the back of the head with a high knee, "the Elijah Express". Burke covers and gets the win, then hauls tail out of the ring before Sandman canes him!

Before we get to the main event, we again recap Bobby Lashley breaking the Masterlock Challenge on Monday night RAW. Damn they're just putting Lashley over like I've not seen in forever!

ECW Champion Bobby Lashley vs. "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters n-title match)

Masters enters the arena first, and I just now noticed that he's got some slightly remixed music. Sounds a little more interesting. We go to commercial, first with a promo package for the "Battle of the Billionaires" match. LIVE NEXT MONDAY! Mr. McMahon has PERSONALLY challenged Bobby Lashley in a wrestling match. WTF?? Has he gone batshit crazy? We come back from break, Lashley makes his entrance, exhales the pyro smoke, then starts slapping hands with the fans, gets to the ring, leaps up on the apron and gets more pyros. Masters staring Lashley down, Lashley returns the stares, gets in the ring, points to Masters, poses on the ropes and looks back again to keep an eye on Masters. These two can't take their eyes off each other. It's almost like a lovers gaze.

They finally lock up, get nowhere, break the lock, lock up again, another break. Lock up a third time, Masters with a side headlock, Lashley pushes him off and hits a shoulderblock. Masters gets in Lashley's face to start trash, tells Lashley to try him, Lashley with a clothesline, throws Masters in the corner, approaches, Masters punches him, Lashley reverses and hits more punches. Lashley whips Masters off the ropes and hits a high backdrop, then clotheslines Lashley out of the ring. Lashley poses in the ring, then gets out to pursue, where Masters rakes the eye. Lashley charges with a clothesline, masters ducks it and Lashley hits the ringpost. Masters picks up Lashley in a bearhug, and rams him into the ringpost.

Masters rolls Lashley back into the ring, sets up for a vertical suplex and nails it, then stands in the ring and calls for the Masterlock. he sets up, starts to lock it in, Lashley with a go-behind and hit a half nelson slam, a pair of clotheslines, and a big scoop slam off the ropes! Lashley with a boot to the gut, hits Masters with his own vertical suplex, grabs Masters by the back of the head, puts him in the corner, punches, whip to the opposite corner, charges with a clothesline, Lashley with the Dominator out of the corner, 1-2-3 holy FUCK did Masters just get buried or WHAT?

And just that fast, your main event is over, ECW is done for the night, and we'll see what happens on Monday night!
