How did the Emelianenko brothers fare this evening? Here are the results from Bodog Fight's "Clash of the Nations" PPV in St. Petersburg, Russia. Thanks to www.sherdog.com for the dark match results not aired on television.

* Josh Curran d. Jarno Nurminen via TKO (strikes) in the third round. DID NOT AIR.

* Rodrigo Damm d. Santino Defranco via submission (rear naked choke) at 1:58 of the second round. DID NOT AIR.

* Bill 'The Butcher' Mahood d. Steve Steinbeiss via unanimous decision. ONE ROUND SHOWN (BONUS).

* Roman Zentsov d. Kristof Midoux via TKO when Midoux is unable to answer the bell for round two.

* Amanda Buckner d. Hitomi Akano via unanimous decision. Buckner is one ugly she-male; the pretty girls NEVER win MMA fights.

* Jorge Santiago d. Andrei Semenov via TKO due to strikes at 4:48 of the second round. Well matched and fun to watch.

* Aleksander Emelianenko d. Eric Pele via knockout at 4:07 of the very first round. Pele was at his best fighting weight ever but was clearly outmatched in strikes, so he tried to "rope a dope" and tire Emelianenko out, which might have worked had Aleksander not landed the one big shot which dropped Pele to his knees. Pele immediately turtled up with his hands over his head and the ref stopped the fight.

* Nick Thompson d. Eddie Alvarez via TKO (strikes) at 4:32 of the secound round to become the NEW BODOG FIGHT WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION. Going into the PPV Alvarez was undefeated in 9 MMA fights but he was clearly outmatched by the taller, heavier and stronger Thompson, but it was a hell of a war until it was stopped.

* Fedor Emelianenko d. Matt 'The Law' Lindland via armbar submission at 2:58 of the very first round. Lindland managed to rock Emelianenko with a punch early that opened up a cut over his eye, Fedor was bleeding profusely and it was reminiscent of his only other loss due to a blood stoppage. Lindland went for a takedown, Fedor grabbed the ropes to block (some controversy about this) and reversed it into one of his own, then hunted for any limb he could pull apart. Lindland kept him close in guard for a while but Fedor found that arm and Lindland described it afterwards as "snap crackle pop - something I've never felt before." Fedor looks as dominant as ever.

* Julie Kedzie d. Julia Berezikova via TKO (strikes) at 2:49 of the second round. DID NOT AIR.

* Ray Steinbeiss d. Dmitry Samoilov via submission (rear naked choke) at 3:00 of the first round. DID NOT AIR.

* Erik Oganov d. Derrick Noble via TKO (strikes) at 2:55 of the second round. DID NOT AIR.

* Amar Suloev d. Andy Foster via knockout at 0:26 of the first round. DID NOT AIR.

Shown in attendance in the crowd were Jean Claude Van Damme, Vladimir Putin, and (of course) Calvin Ayre.
