Although you may hear otherwise on our next AngryMarks.com podcast since we gave the current ECW storyline for CM Punk high marks, the audience for the show doesn't show the same amount of improvement. In fact it's slipped down further to a 1.5. (WO) I've knocked WWECW in the past but all things considered there are much worse wrestling shows on TV these days.
It looks as though A&E will begin filming a reality series about Mick Foley soon. The show will be focused on Foley himself. Here's what the Hardcore Legend had to say about it: "You know, the people at A&E really sold me on what the show could be. I watched some of their shows specifically and I think that in the same way I was really proud of being in Beyond the Mat, I could be proud of a reality show, especially if it allows me to cover some of my interests outside of wrestling and may draw people into supporting some causes that I do." We have a new update on the Deep South Wrestling situation. On the heels of WWE pulling out of DSW, owner Jody Hamilton will be shutting down the promotion and school. It appears that without WWE's financial support DSW wasn't making enough money to stay operational. Steve Keirn's wrestling school is currently the leading candidate to replace DSW. (WO)
