In an effort to end some of the speculation regarding his WWE tenure, RVD's official website at www.robvandam.com has posted an update from the superstar himself on his status. In it he dismisses the false reports stating his was released early from his WWE contract. Officially his contract ends in a few weeks and it's unlikely WWE likely use him on TV any more between now and then. You can visit a direct link to his article here.
Steve-O of Jackass and Raw Fan Nation fame has unleashed a big spoiler for this year's SummerSlam PPV. In a post to his MySpace blog here Steve reveals he was backstage at Raw last night filming a commercial for Summerslam which will not only build up the main event of the show but will also include the entire cast of Jackass. Here's a quote from Steve: "I really wasn't that bad last night, well, that's not true. I did a great job shooting my new WWE commercial to promote the WWE Pay Per View Summer Slam, but then everyone got all sorts of uptight as a result of me running around trying to get famous wrestlers to choke me unconcious (sic) for my Paparazzi Stuntman DVD (plenty of them were ready to do it, including Umaga, but the suits derailed me). I got a funny call from L.A. saying, 'Why are we getting calls that the main event of their WWE Summer Slam may be called off because of you're behaving so badly?'" Obviously WWE could scrap the whole thing now that Steve-O's run his mouth, so whether any of this will ever air remains to be seen.

The main event for tonight's ECW has been revealed - Bobby Lashley vs. The Sandman, Tommy Dreamer, and Balls Mahoney in a hardcore match. It's not clear whether or not his newly won title will be on the line or why the ECW Originals would be forced to get in a fight with him. (PWI)
The Score in Canada will be giving the Raw "Draft" extra special treatment next week. They'll be airing the WWE Draft Special live on Monday at 8:00 PM with replays on June 11th at midnight and June 12th at 2:30 PM. (411)
And FWIW and probably not too surprising since we saw him in the crowd, former MLB star Wade Boggs was backstage at Raw last night along with former wrestler turned politician Brian Blair. Thankfully Iron Sheik was nowhere nearby or both men might have been HUMBLED~! (PWI)
