There's an article up right now at www.ESPN.com which states that Rep. Henry Waxman, the chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and Tom Davis, its ranking minority member requested records of WWE's drug and steroid testing results in a three page letter dated today. The records requested are similar to what was asked of Major League Baseball and includes a list of drugs covered by its policies and the exact number of tests it conducts annually along with the protocols followed after a positive test. Good ol' J.R. has updated his blog again. In the latest edition, Ross shoots down the idea of ECW having tag team titles, addresses whether or not WWE has any interest in Sting, and directly rebutts Bret Hart's statement that "circus animals" are treated better than WWE's contracted wrestlers. WWE has a busy weekend schedule coming up. On Saturday the Raw crew will be in Las Vegas, on Sunday they'll be in Prescott Valley, Arizona and the live Raw will be Monday night in Tucson. Smackdown & ECW are in Bangkok, Thailand tonight, in Singapore tomorrow, in Perth, Australia on Sunday and then tape television on Tuesday in Phoenix, AZ. (411)
