You can start breathing again, it appears that suspended NFL bad-boy Adam "Pacman" Jones will not be performing inside a TNA Wrestling ring as a wrestler anytime soon.

Jim Wyatt of The Tennesseean reported this morning that Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher is not cool with any reports that say Jones will be participating as a wrestler. Fisher said on Monday, "That type of thing is not permitted in accordance with the player's contract." Most NFL contracts prohibt players under contract from participating in activities which could injure them or prevent them from being in playing condition.

Other players themselves pretty much scoffed at the idea of Jones being used as a wrestler. Most of them didn't think Jones would be the type who would want to participate as a wrestler, instead using his appearances in TNA Wrestling in an entertainment-only aspect meant to keep his appeal and fan base alive. Jones' lawyer, Worrick Robinson, again has reiterated that Jones' participation would be in a "non-wresting" capacity. Robinson also stated that the deal that was worked out would not violate Jones' contract with the National Football League.
