12/22/07: Apolo Signs a Deal With WWE

It was come to our attention that German Figueroa, better known as Apolo, has recently signed a deal with the WWE and will be reporting to Florida Championship Wrestling at the beginning of next year. Apolo worked in TNA during it's beginning, is a former NWA World Tag Team Champion with D'lo Brown and was part of the original incarnation of LAX. He also works for IWA Puerto Rico and worked for World Wrestling Council, Planet Championship Wrestling in Florida and several other promotions in his career.

Some may remember that Apolo was also involved in the TNA match where Chris Candido broke his leg, for which he was subsequently hospitalized, at which point he was killed post surgery by a blood clot. In hindsight it was a freak accident when Apolo's partner Siaki botched a spot but let's hope nothing similar befalls him in WWE.
