Seems as though TNA taped a lot of extra material at the two Impact tapings this week which they plan to splice up to make up the next THREE weeks worth of shows. It is unknown now what will air this week except for Jim Cornette's "deal" for Samoa Joe and the Brock Lesnar segment featuring comments by Kurt Angle. (PWI)
Speaking of Kurt Angle, he referred to Brock Lesnar as a "mental midget" during a radio interview today. I can only assume that radio appearance must have been Bubba the Love Sponge but my source on this is 411 and they don't indicate when or where. Angle also said that Lesnar will probably win the MMA matches where he has little to no pressure on him, seeming to imply Lesnar will fold when the heat's on.
As noted by Bryan Alvarez on the weekly B&V Show from F4WOnline, TNA Impact OFFICIALLY did draw more viewers than ECW last week for the first time ever. Impact did a 1.22 rating while ECW had a 1.1 rating. (WO)
Here are some upcoming TNA DVD release dates - the Best of 2007 DVD will be released on April 8th (isn't that a little late for '07 fellas), the Turning Point 2007 DVD will be released on February 5th, the Final Resolution 2008 DVD will be released on March 11th and the Against All Odds 2008 DVD will be released on April 22nd.
