Apparently the Hulkster has caused a little brouhaha. On a recent appearance on the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show, Hogan took a live phone call from a WWE secretary with a list of potential candidates for the Hall of Fame and played it on the air. The call was removed from later repeats of the show but Hogan still pissed off the brass at WWE all the way up to Vincent Kennedy McMahon himself. Hulk Hogan appeared on the Bubba the Love Sponge Radio Show yesterday and addressed this, plus stirred up the possibility he may end up changing companies over the whole thing. Here are some highlights:

* Hogan said he hung out with Anna Nicole Smith at the last UFC show and that she was wobbling all over the place, and that hotel staff told him that she was incoherent when she checked in.

* Hogan said he hasn't talked to Dixie Carter directly but that his lawyer might have. Furthermore Hogan said that Bubba always gets him in trouble on air, saying he got heat for the phone call he answered on-air from the secretary about the WWE Hall of Fame. Bubba said that was more Hogan's fault than his. He also mentioned how he got tons of heat for being at the UFC show as the fans chanted "Hogan."

* Hogan also claimed that VH-1 wanted him to start a new wrestling promotion for them. He also claimed that they wanted 20 episodes of "Hogan Knows Best" but he only agreed to 12.

* Hogan mentioned that the biggest angle in wrestling could be Hogan vs. Vince Russo. He also made it clear that he is not working for WWE and that he isn't scheduled to appear at WrestleMania.

You can read more of the highlights at 411 Mania. In a follow-up to this story, Pro Wrestling Torch reports Hogan was going to face either Shane McMahon or the Great Khali at WrestleMania. The Shane McMahon angle would have involved Donald Trump bringing in Hogan and being in his corner at WrestleMania, with Vince in Shane's corner. That's all out the window now! In fact it seems Vince even directed WWEShop.com to put all of Hulk Hogan's merchandise on clearance. Hulkster fans grab your bargains while you can~!
