We'll be covering UFC Macau: Rich Franklin vs. Cung Le this morning starting at 9 AM Eastern, 8 Central. When the recap begins hit F5 or refresh as often as you like for the latest updates. The main card includes some potentially stellar bouts like 'Fireball Kid' Takanori Gomi vs. Mac Danzig and 'Stun Gun' Dong Hyun Kim vs. Paulo Thiago you won't want to miss, but if you didn't set an alarm to get up for this show we've got you covered!

* Bantamweigt Bout: Takeya Mizugaki vs. Jeff Hougland

Our referee in charge is Steve Perceval. Here we go! There might have been an accidental eyepoke to start the fight but Perceval waves it off. Hougland shoots for a takedown at 54 seconds and misses, then tries for a double and misses again. He tries like hell to get it to the ground and instead it's Mizugaki who takes a body clinch and puts Hougland on his butt, putting his head into the cage. Hougland goes for an armbar and Mizugaki responds by pounding on him. Perceval calls for more work at 2:40 so Mizugaki starts dropping lefts and rights down the pipe. Another call for work at 1:57 and again Mizugaki responds. Hougland is taking a pretty good beating on his back. Hougland starts going for a head and arm choke but Mizugaki pops out with 39 seconds left in the round. Mizugaki continues to punish him until the horn. 10-9 Mizugaki.

We're back for R2 at 9:21. Incidentally Mizugaki is in the white trunks and Hougland the black. Mizugaki gets pushed into the fence at 4:06 and Hougland looks for a single leg but can't get it then Mizugaki gets a body clinch takedown seconds later. If he can avoid the submission attempts and continue to do damage Hougland's in big trouble. "If I don't see some work I'm going to stand you up" is the ref's warning at 2:38. Mizugaki takes Hougland's back in response but can't find anything and is back in guard with 120 seconds to go. He tries to jump to full mount but can't. Another call for work at 1:40. Hougland's corner shouted some advice that ended with "you can't be halfway Jeff." Perceval stands them up at 1:16 and Hougland immediately eats a left hook, and they're on the ground again. Jon Anik sums up this fight nicely: "Significant strikes piling up for Takeya Mizugaki." Another 10-9 for Takeya.

We're back at The Venetian in Macau for R3 at 9:27. Mizugaki knocks Hougland down, Hougland nearly gets a takedown, but Mizugaki is once again successful with the body clinch at 4:30. Perceval immediately warns them he wants more work. Every time Mizugaki can posture up, he cracks Hougland in the faface with shots. Mizugaki lets Hougland stand back up at 3:23. Body clinch at 3:10 to the ground again. Shots to the head and to the ribs. Hougland ties him up long enough to get it stood up at 2:03. Mizugaki immediately throws a leg kick. Hougland ducks a right hook and shoots, fails on takedown, and wouldn't you know it Mizugaki winds up on top in clinch. Florian: "Mizugaki's been a step ahead throughout this fight." Exactly. Anik: "Very fluid performance here for Takeya Mizugaki." On the money. To make matters worse for Hougland he's been cut on his forehead and starts spouting blood for the last 30 secods. Mizugaki offers him a hug afterward and then we see a replay of the left elbow that split his head.

9:34 AM ET. 30-25, 30-27 and 30-27 for THE WINNER BY UNANIMOUS DECISION: TAKEYA MIZUGAKI. No post-fight interview, but we do get some more replays of the beating Mizugaki laid on that ass. Commercial.

* Lightweight Bout: Zhang Tiequan vs. Jon Tuck

Florian and Anik preview UFC 154 and UFC on Fox 6 when we come back before throwing to a video package for our next fight. Tuck is introduced with the fact he's won 6 out of 6 fights as a pro in the first round. Tiequan is introduced as a 3 fight UFC veteran and a pioneer of mixed martial arts in China before we go to another commercial. We come back for a Tale of the Tape at 9:44 and go inside the Octagon. Our referee in charge is Marc Goddard. Here we go!

Tuck is in the white trunks and Tiequan is in the blue. Tuck is smiling. Anik reminds us about Tuck's dislocated toe in the TUF tryouts. Tiequan gets a takedown to side control but Tuck manages to push him back to closed guard a minute in. Tuck goes for an armbar but Tiequan uses his legs to counter and survive. Tiequan goes for an inverted triangle but Tuck gets out of it. Tuck takes the back and now he's looking for a rear naked choke. He takes a full mount at 2:05 then takes side control. He takes the back again. He moves from position to position so quickly "fluid" is the only word to describe it. 1:20. Tuck can't get that RNC so he tries to soften Tiequan up with some shots to the ribs. Zhang gets back to his feet just seconds before the horn.

R2 is underway at 9:51. Tiequan lands a HARD left hand and Tuck walks through it, then both guys decide screw it and start trading shots. Tuck goes for a jumping knee after he gets cut open by a shot and Tiequan turns it into a takedown. Tuck has a reversal of fortunes and sweeps to the top at 3:27, but Tiequan has him well tied up in half guard. 2:40. Perceval would have already stood this up for inactivity. Tuck gets mount then goes to Tiequan's back at 1:33. Absolutely nothing happens from there for the next minute and you can hear the crowd getting restless, starting to boo openly right before the horn.

Touch of gloves and the third round is underway at 9:57 AM. I have to keep reminding myself that's AM, not PM. Tiequan does better whenever he keeps things standing but if he goes to the ground with Tuck he'll be in rouble again. Tuck carefully backs away and works his jab. Tiequan throws leg kicks to mix things up. Florian suspects Tuck might have gassed a bit in R2. Anik notes his mouth is wide open. Tiequan starts pouring it on with left hooks and again Tuck responds with a flying knee. 2:50. Tuck's hands are way down low. Tiequan could take this round but he has to hope the 2 out of 3 judges will give him 1 of the first 2 rounds as well. Whackier things have happened. Tiequan continues to win every stand-up exchange. 1:20. Tuck is able to weather the storm for the final minute and he even smiles as he throws a few kicks. They go to the ground right at the horn and Tuck slaps him on the butt. This probably goes 29-28 Tuck.

10:04 AM ET. We're back to learn the scores. 29-28, 30-27 AND 29-28 FOR THE UNANIMOUS DECISION WINNER: JON TUCK. He improves to 7-0. "China, thank you for having me. Tiequan Zhang, awesome war. Little island against an awesome country, but a great fight." Tuck's corner puts him on their shoulders so he can fly a flag of Guam, then they all post in the middle of the Octagon for a photo. Commercial and a UFC 154 promo when we come back at 10:10.

* Lightweight Bout: Takanori Gomi vs. Mac Danzig

Video package introducing both fighters before we go to another commercial at 10:13. Tale of the Tape at 10:17 and the only thing different between the two of them is their age (Gomi being 34). Danzig is 22-9-1 and fighting out of L.A. in the black trunks as the TUF 6 winner. Gomi is 33-8, 1 NC fighting out of Tokyo in the red/blue trunks. Our referee in charge is Steve Perceval. Here we go!

Danzig has a good bounce to his step in the opening 30 seconds. He also is better at keeping his hands up. They spend the first 90 seconds feeling each other out. Gomi is doing a good job in the exchanges. Danzig has a thai clinch for a moment and lands some knees before Gomi gets a double leg at 2:34. Danzig gets back up as we move under 120 seconds in R1. Gomi throws some nasty leg kicks and Danzig responds with an elbow. Perceval issues a "keep your fingers closed" warning to the fighters. Danzig lands a left hook. 20 seconds. Danzig gets a single leg into a double and is on top throwing hammers to end the round. Gomi goes for a heel hook right before the horn to no avail.

R2 opens at 10:25. Danzig looks for a takedown at 4:05 and is blocked immediately. Gomi continues to work his jab well then closes the distance with body shots, momentarily putting Danzig on the fence. 3:20. He mixes it up so nicely - leg kick then head shot - never attacking the same place twice. Danzig circles his back off the fence looking for a takedown or a thai clinch, getting neither. Danzig's face is starting to wear the war. He's getting left hooks in here and there. He dances away from the fence at 1:34, lands a combo, then gets a double leg takedown. Gomi gets to his feet but that gives Danzig the chance to go for a head and arm guillotine. Gomi tries to sweep to get out of it but gives Danzig a better position in the process, but manages to survive to the horn.

Gomi stuns Danzig with a right hand IMMEDIATELY to open R3, and Danzig flails backward then decides to throw upkicks from his back. Danzig manages to hold Gomi in half guard on the ground but can't do much else. They're fighting on a part of the Octagon absolutely stained with blood - wonder if that's Hougland's from earlier or somebody else. Perceval calls for more work - that's the old Perceval I know. Danzig goes for a knee bar, Gomi goes for a foot lock, both guys give up their submissions and Gomi is on top in guard at the two minute mark. Danzig gets back up at 2:25 and if he wants to win this fight he needs to dominate the latter half of this round. Danzig takes Gomi down and has his back at 1:52 but Gomi gets back up. They break apart moments later. Danzig throws a right hook that lands flush at 52 seconds then Gomi drops his hands to say BRING IT. He stuffs a takedown attempt but Danzig lands a bunch of uppercuts as Gomi pushes him to the fence. Gomi starts swinging wildly but he looks exhausted. Don't know if Danzig did enough there at the end but he sure tried. We'll find out after commercial.

10:38 AM ET. 29-28 DANZIG, 29-28 GOMI AND 29-28 SPLIT DECISION FOR TAKANORI GOMI. Post fight interview with the woman everybody calls "Happy Pen Translator Lady" explaining Gomi's comments, then another commercial.

* Welterweight Bout: Dong Hyun Kim vs. Paulo Thiago

Video package for 'Stun Gun' and Thiago then another commercial break. We're back for the fight itself at 10:47 AM ET. Buffer introduces Thiago in the white trunks, 14-4, fighting out of Brasilia, Brazil. He introduces Kim in the black trunks, 15-2-1, 1 NC, fighting out of Busan, South Korea. Our referee in charge (hopefully not Perceval) is Marc Goddard.

Kim goes for a single leg takedown right away but Thiago does a good job of keeping his balance. He finally body clinches his way to a takedown at 4:16. Kim wastes no time taking the back of the BJJ black belt. Florian is stunned by this. Anik says this is no surprise because Kim "gets you where he want to be." Kim is doing his best to soften Thiago up and flatten him out. Thiago gets to his knees but that's all he can muster. 2:30. Kim stays active, hammering Thiago with lefts and rights, then starting to go for a choke when Thiago tries to sit up. 1:20. Kim gives up the sub when it's not there and continues to soften up Thiago. Anik calls him the most accurate ground striker in the welterweight division. He keeps trying to sneak an arm in for a neck crank or choke but Thiago SURVIVES thanks to the horn.

R2 opens at 10:54. Thiago goes for a kimura when Kim goes for a takedown. 90 seconds in Thiago is still trying to get it but he's giving up his back to Kim in the process and Kim bulls his head into the fence. He throws knees to the ribs and Thiago just won't give up, finally letting go of the arm at 2:40. Thiago gets up but is taken back down again at 1:55. Thiago keeps an hand on the ground so Kim can't throw knees, then Thiago is able to escape to his feet and keep an underhook on his foe. Kim trips him and looks for a d'arce choke but AGAIN THIAGO SURVIVES THANKS TO THE HORN.

A spinning backfist in the opening half minute of R3. Thiago needs to do something big but at 3:32 Kim has him down and has his back again. He overpositions then corrects it and gets the hooks in. Thiago tries to stand up but Kim is like a boa constrictor wrapped around him. The crowd is getting a little frustrated, much like Thiago himself must be. 2 minutes to go. Kim wakes them up with DOUBLE HAMMERFISTS in the last 30 seconds, and they should be pleased when he gets the unanimous decision.

30-26, 30-27 X2 FOR THE STUN GUN at 11:08 AM. No post-fight interview. Commercial break and a promo for GSP's return at UFC 154 before our next bout.

* Light Heavyweight Bout: Stanislav Nedkov vs. Thiago Silva

Tale of the tape comes at 11:18 AM before the official introductions by Bruce Buffer. Nedkov is 12-0 in the blue trunks and fighting out of Bulgaria. Silva is 14-3, 1 NC and fighting out of Boca Raton, Florida by way of Brazil in the black trunks. Our ref is Steve Perceval (again).

Nedkov comes charging forward with strikes immediately. He knocks Silva down for a moment after they're tied up for a minute. Silva looks like the bigger of the two men in the cage but Nedkov is out to prove great things come in small packages. Silva catches him with a good leg kick but Nedkov bulls his way forward looking for a single and presses Silva into the fence. The fighters break of their own volition with under 90 seconds then Nedkov bulls his way forward again looking for another takedown. Expect Perceval to call for work at any second. HE DOES AT 0:38. So f'n predictable. Ironically the commentators call Nedkov "really active" in calling the match seconds later. 10-9 R1 for Nedkov.

Nedkov takes an inside leg shot to the groin to open the second and is given the five minutes to recover, and Perceval even encourages him not to hurry back, for once winning some favor with me for good officiating. We restart with 4:42 on the clock. Perceval is back in my doghouse again by calling for work at 3:57 and breaking them at 3:42. Nedkov lands a flurry of punches coming forward and looks for a single leg but doesn't get it. The crowd boos but Nedkov is fighting the fight he can win and it's not like Silva is doing anything to stop it. Nedkov thinks there will be another groin strike stop at 1:55 but Perceval tells them to fight on. Silva is pushed into the fence 20 seconds later. They break at 1:03 and Nedkov eats a couple of kicks, but he's throwing stiff jabs. Nedkov tries to bait Silva into coming forward and NEDKOV KNOCKS HIM DOWN WITH THE OVERHAND RIGHT AND THROWS A FLURRY OF SHOTS. Silva ties him up on the ground to survive.

Our third and final round is underway at 11:33 AM and Nedkov is immediately headhunting with the overhand right. Silva smells it coming and starts throwing rights that land flush then he gets a takedown at 4:07 and moves immediately to a full mount. Silva takes a head and arm choke, moves to side control, and NEDKOV TAPS OUT. Silva pantomimes SSHHHH, GO TO SLEEP for the camera afterward. We'll get the official time after commercial.

1:45 OF R3 FOR THE WINNER BY TAP TO AN ARM TRIANGLE - THIAGO SILVA. Jon Anik goes to interview him. "It's just uh, do something you know. I used the right opportunity to take him down you know." Anik wishes him a happy birthday on Monday, then Silva thanks the Blackzilians and all of his sponsors. One fight to go!

* Middleweight Main Event: Rich Franklin vs. Cung Le

Le makes his entrance to "The Baddest Man Alive" by Black Keys and RZA from The Man With the Iron Fists Soundtrack. Rich Franklin makes his way down to AC/DC's hit For Those About to Rock as commentary reminds us this is Franklin's official return to middleweight. He gets greased up and sent in the cage before we get our Tale of the Tape. 38 to 40, 6'1" to 5'10", 185 to 186 and 76" to 70" from Franklin to Le on the reach. Le fights out of San Jose in the black trunks, Franklin fights out of Cincinnati in the pink trunks. Our referee in charge for this final bout is Marc Goddard (thank God). Here we go!

Our first round is underway at 11:52. Franklin works the jab and throws outside leg kicks. Le seems to have thrown nothing BUT kicks as is his wont. 3:15. LE KNOCKS FRANKLIN OUT FOR A RIGHT HAND AND THIS IS ALL OVER!! We go to a replay and see Le jumping out with the monster overhand right after Franklin threw a leg kick and was not defending - PERFECTLY TIMED. We'll get the official time after commercial.

2:17 OF R1 FOR THE WINNER BY KNOCKOUT: CUNG LE. Anik with the post-fight interview. "That's the biggest fight of my life. Thank you Rich Franklin." He also thanks Dana White, Joe Silva and the Fertittas. "I came in I waited for him to punch and I threw the overhand right and caught him." Franklin is interviewed. "I'll have to go back and watch it on tape. I'm a little fuzzy right now. I'll have to go home, talk to my coaches, and make an intelligent decision (about my future)." That's it for UFC on Fuel!
