Tonight marks the final show of 2012, it's UFC 155 live from Las Vegas with a main event for the ages as Junior Dos Santos fights Cain Velasquez for the Heavyweight Title, hopefully it will lasts longer than 64 seconds like their first fight.

Hey everyone, it's Peter H bringing you the live results for Angrymarks. Let's go right to the first fight on the card

Flyweight Fight - Chris Cariaso vs John Moraga

To be honest the first round felt like a 5 minute feeling out process with Cariaso outstriking Moraga and winning the round on my card 10-9

Second round saw Moraga getting the better strikes and is able to push Cariaso to the ground, Cariaso is able to score a late takedown but does nothing with it. I think Moraga did enough here to win the round and makes the third round winner take all

Apparently Moraga didnt land a single knee or kick in the 2nd round. Moraga has Cariasao pinned up against the cage and has a front choke in, sort of like a headlock, he's slumping down into a d'arce choke kind of hold and there is the tapout

Winner via Submission (Tapout) @ 1:11 of Rd 3 - John Moraga

Cue the commercial for tonight's show

Featherweight Fight - Leonard Garcia vs Max Holloway

Holloway is the youngest fighter in the UFC at 21 years old. Both fighters are content at staying on the feet and Holloway clips Garcia early at the 90 second mark but Garcia is able to quickly get back to his feet. Garcia lands a very nice shot with 90 seconds left in the round. Garcia ends the round with a nice flurry that I think stole the round. 10-9 Garcia

Not much action in the first two minutes then Garcia is able to pin Holloway up against the cage and picks him up and slams him to the ground but Holloway gets right back up. Now we are back to the center of the cage with 2 minutes left in the round. The facebook feed is very choppy for this fight, Garcia is fighting to win the round, Holloway is fighting to defend. 10-9 for Garcia on my card, 20-18 overall

Great back and forth fight in the third with Garcia taking down Holloway late and Holloway going for a triangle but Garcia slamming him as the horn goes 30-27 on my card but probably 29-28 Garcia I'm guessing

Winner via Split Decision (29-28 x 2, 28-29) - Max Holloway

The fans boo this decision, and I agree, Holloway wants to fight Garcia again

Cue the commercial for the PPV

Heavyweight Fight - Todd Duffee vs Phil De Fries

This fight started with Duffee blitzing, PDF surviving and is able to pin Duffee against the cage, Duffee is able to escape after being down on his butt at one point. Duffee now has brought the fight back to the center of the cage and then Duffee lands a few nice shots and down goes PDF as the ref dives in behind Duffee to stop the fight

Winner via TKO @ 2:40 of Rd 2 - Todd Duffee

That's it for Facebook Prelims, bring on the FX prelims

Lightweight Fight - Michael Johnson vs Myles Jury

Jury is able to take down Johnson midway through the round and is just dominating him from the top position and landing lots of shots from the ground and pound position. Lots of punishment there with Jury going from side mount to full mount and sneaks in a choke when the horn goes off. 10-8 Jury yes I know I rarely give out 10-8 rounds but this was one of those rounds

Johnson bringing the fight in the second trying to get his rhythm but Jury takes him down at the 2:30 mark of the round. Jury is working in Johnson's guard right now trying to get the full mount and landing a couple of nice elbows. Not much after that, 10-9 Jury

Third round is more of the same, Johnson comes out gets a couple of strikes and Jury takes him down again. Jury working for a submission but Johnson is able to use the half guard. Jury has been in top position now for over 7 minutes of the fight, Johnson has 0:00 in top position. 2 minutes left and Jury is still working for a finish. Jury is just dominating here like he did in Round 1. Another 10-8 in my books. Jury 30-25 wow, I can't remember the last time i scored a fight 30-25

Winner via UD (30-27 x 3) - Myles Jury

I can see 30-27 but there were a couple of points in that fights where the ref could have stopped it

Lightweight Fight - Jamie Varner vs Melvin Guillard

Guillard is timing his kicks early in the round, Varner just waiting to strike here. Fans are starting to boo due to the lack of actual activity between these two fighters. We are now at 10 unchecked leg kicks by Guillard, he wants to take the spring out of Varner's step. Varner goes for a takedown but Guillard denies him. Fans are getting restless here near the end of the round. Varner lands a couple of nice shots that hurt Guillard and Varner gets in a choke and just as it's deep the round ends. Very close round to score here but I'll give it to Varner due to the last 20 seconds of that round 10-9

Varner scores an early takedown Guillard gets out and lands a nice knee as Varner escapes. Both fighters land a few nice strikes and Varner scores another takedown with two minutes left. Both fighters exchange kicks with 38 seconds left but Varner catches him low and the fight is paused by the referee. Fight resumes and not much action and there's the horn. 10-9 Guillard so 3rd round is winner take all

Varner scores an early takedown but Guillard reverses it and gets control until Varner escapes. Varner again with a takedown attempt and seems to be working in Guillard's guard landing some nice strikes here. Both fighters back in the center of the cage with 2 minutes left. Another takedown by Varner and more of the same from Varner working in Guillard's guard. Guillard goes for an armbar but Varner escapes, Guillard gets side control, now Varner switches back into Guillard's guard. 30 seconds left, both fighters back in the center of the cage. Guillard lands a nice kick, Varner shoots for a takedown, Guillard jumps on Varner's back so Varner stands up and drops Guillard on his head like a pro wrestler would. There's the horn, Varner 10-9 so 29-28 Varner on my card

Winner via SD(30-27 x 2, 27-30) - Jamie Varner

Joe Rogan said that whoever scored that 30-27 for Guillard shouldn't judge ever again. I agree, how was that a 30-27 for Guillard

Bantamweight Fight - Erik Perez vs Byron Bloodworth

Perez has Bloodworth pinned against the cage and landing some nice knees and body shots here wearing Bloodworth down. Perez drops Bloodworth with a knee to the body and Perez is now in the full guard of Bloodworth. Perez just continues to beat on Bloodworth and those shots are getting through and causing damage and Bloodworth is now bleeding. The ref has no choice but to stop the fight here and there's the stoppage

Winner via TKO @ 3:50 of Rd 1 - Erik Perez

Perez is wearing the luchador mask for the post-fight interview. In fact his entire team is wearing the same mask in the background. One of those rocking the mask, Greg Jackson

Bantamweight Fight - Brad Pickett vs Eddie Wineland

That round was very fast and furious, Wineland landed some very nice shots there rocking Pickett but Pickett wouldn't go down. Pickett is bleeding from the nose and Wineland wins that round 10-9.

More of the same in round 2, however Pickett caused a little bit more damage than the first. Still a 10-9 round for Wineland but Pickett made it close and he needs to go for the KO in round 3 to win the fight

More of the same in round 3, the crowd is booing because the round wasn't very exciting punch punch step step away type of flow to the round. Pickett couldn't get past the jab of Wineland. Let's say 10-9 Pickett making it 29-28 for Wineland on my scorecard

Winner via SD(30-27 x 2, 28-29) - Eddie Wineland

Man this scoring tonight is crazy. Anyways, it's like I always say Never leave it to the judges

Let's go to the main card shall we ~!

In Memory of Jeff Blatnick graphic is shown before the ppv starts

Middleweight Fight - Chris Leben vs Derek Brunson

Brunson scores an early takedown and is working in Leben's guard, Leben working for anything from the bottom position here, Brunson is doing the same from the top. That was pretty much the round, by the time Leben go to his feet the round was over. 10-9 Brunson i suppose

More of the same here in round 2 but Leben gets back to a vertical base with just under 3 minutes left in the round. Not much going on here in the 2nd round and the fans are starting to boo here, they want some action. Both fighters look exhausted, Rogan is calling it an adreliane dump. There's the horn to a very lackluster round. 10-9 Brunson

This fight is very slow paced, remind me of that UFC in Denver show where the heavyweights were fighting at 1/2 pace, and the fans are back to booing this fight and I don't blame them. Another takedown by Brunson and back to the feet. Brunson screams in excitment after the final horn sounds and Leben looked at him like "Seriously" I agree Leben, 10-9 Brunson

Winner via UD (29-28 x 3) - Derek Brunson

Nate Marquart and Daniel Cormier are sitting cageside promoting the final strikeforce show in two weeks

Middleweight Fight - Alan Belcher vs Yushin Okami

Very slow technical start here, both fighters getting their timing down here in the early going. Okami has Belcher pinned up against the cage, the ref is warning both fighters to stay busy. Belcher takes down Okami and tries to get a choke but Okami gets out and takes the top position and is working in Belcher's guard. Okami switches to side control here and is raining elbows on Belcher. Belcher gets up to his knees before the horn sounds and the fans aren't happy and more booing is heard. 10-9 Okami

Okami pins Belcher against the cage again but Belcher is able to takedown Okami but he escapes a choke attempt and Okami gets control even getting side control before the ref stands them up due to lack of action. Interesting to stand them up while Okami was in side control. Okami scores another takedown and with 20 seconds left the ref stands them up again due to inactivity. There's the horn, 10-9 Okami, and the crowd is getting louder with their booing

More of the same in the third round, Okami pins Belcher to cage which leads to Belcher taking Okami down, however Belcher ended up in full mount which ends up with Okami getting caught in a choke but Belcher can't get the proper grip for it to work. Okami back in control. Okami in full mount now with 30 seconds left. There's the horn

Winner via UD (30-27 x 2, 29-28) - Yushin Okami

Commercial for a PPV special, top 100 KO's in UFC (Including Strikeforce, Affliction, Pride and WEC)

Middleweight Fight - Tim Boetsch vs Costa Philippou

Boetsch scores a takedown with 90 seconds left in the round, that should tell you how much notable action there was in the first 3:30. Fighters are stood back up with 35 seconds left in teh round. Here we go, Costa with a nice 1-2 combo on Boetsch but that's all for this round. Boetsch lands a nice front kick which knocks down Costa but the horn went off before he could do some real damage. 10-9 Boetsch

It appears that Boetsch has a broken hand and his corner is advising him to take down Costa as a result. Boetsch is now bleeding from the forehead but Rogan is saying on the broadcast that it appears to be his right hand that is broken. Fight is stopped as Boetsch has been poked in the eye. Apparently the bleeding from the forehead was from an accidental headbutt. Not the best round for Boetsch and there is still 2 minutes left in the round. Costa takes down Boetsch and is working in the full guard. That's pretty much the round, 10-9 for Costa

Boetsch is bleeding buckets here and its getting into his eyes, this fight should be stopped. Costa is just stepping away at times to let Boetsch get back up but the ref continues the fight. Costa continues the punishment and finally the ref stops it.

Winner via TKO @ 2:11 of Rd 3 - Costa Philippou

It's semi-main event time

Lightweight Fight - Joe Lauzon vs Jim Miller

Very fast and furious first round here but for the most part it's Miller is dominating. In fact halfway through the round the fight is stopped due to the cut on Lauzon's head. Lauzon has landed a couple of nice shots but it's all Miller here. The crowd is cheering as the horn sounds. That cut looks bad on Lauzon and the doctor is there checking it. That is a nasty gash above the right eye of Lauzon and Miller will be targeting it. 10-9 Miller

25 seconds in and a takedown by Miller and that cut has opened up in a bad way. At this point it's a crimson mask being worn by Lauzon. Miller is just grinding this out applying pressure and working for full mount. He gets it with 3 minutes left in the round. Miller is working a choke here but Lauzon gets the top position as a result. Fight is stopped as a long strand of tape needed to be cut off of Lauzon's wrist as it was loose. Miller starts to get out but Lauzon tries for a leg lock but Miller gets out as the horn goes. 10-9 Lauzon for his comeback in that round. That cut is worse now and the cut man is doing his best here.

What can I say for this third round, it's like a slow motion rock em sock em robots with both fighters leaving it all in the cage, this is fight of the night for sure. Lauzon drops down for a leg lock and when Miller gets out he slaps on a choke and theres the horn. 29-28 Miller on my card but it could go to Lauzon easily.

Winner via UD (29-28 x 3) - Jim Miller

Some fans booed that but it was a close fight and a great one at that

Main Event - Heavyweight Title Fight - Cain Velasquez vs Junior Dos Santos (c)

Cain shooting for takedowns early but JDS is able to escape easily. Cain keeps going for a takedown and JDS just walks away. Crowd is loudly cheering for JDS "Cigano Cigano" Pure domination by Velasquez in the 2nd half of the round, Herb Dean was right there and let the fight continue. The crowd is buzzing with the excitment. 10-9 Velasquez

Velasquez takes down JDS and now is having his way with him. JDS gets up and Velasquez brings him back down. Velasquez is going for an armbar here. JDS gets out and is trying to get and does get back to his feet. This could be a 10-8 round here if JDS makes it to the end of the round. There's the horn as they cut to Mike Tyson sitting cage side with Chuck Liddell

More of the same in round 3 with JDS showing some life with his shots but Velasquez continues to dominate here. 10-9 Velasquez

Same for round 4 but JDS is getting more shots in but it's Velasquez's fight to lose here in the 5th and final round

Cain Velasquez could not finish the job as the fight goes the distance. The last three rounds were Cain dominating and JDS trying to get a shot here and there and just defend but Cain was just too much for JDS on this night. I'd love to see Cain vs JDS 3 in 2013

Winner and NEW UFC HW CHAMP via UD (50-45, 50-44, 50-43) - Cain Velasquez

That's it for me after 6.5 hours of coverage that's a wrap

Never leave it to the judges and we will see you in 2013

Happy New Year

Peter H.
