Sat. #2 is HERE. To help the site out subscribe to Mistah MegaManFan so we can reach 1,000 (current count: 878). If you're a gamer you'll enjoy it! Don't miss Impact Wrestling highlight videos from yesterday! With the cheap plugs out of the way here's Sunday's latest news.

In this interview Cody Rhodes talks about the Attitude Era: "The Attitude Era is the most profitable era in this sport's history. It's an amazing period, something to really learn from and study. But it's over. It is not coming back, it's that Cody Rhodessimple. The product cannot be centered in nostalgia. It can have nostalgia, but it cannot take precedent and it can never overshadow a rising male or female star breaking out on television or in front of the crowd for the first time. This show has a new cast."

Speaking of Cody, he destroyed Triple H's throne to open Double or Nothing and also had a little fun at the expense of WWE's 24/7 title in the video from Starrcast seen below.

In addition here's another Cody Rhodes interview about AEW.

Here's an announcement from Impact Wrestling.

More matches will be announced this weekend, but the Main Event is newsworthy in a major way. Johnny IMPACT and Michael Elgin are looking to take over IMPACT Wrestling in a big time way and imagine what would happen if they can somehow find a way to defeat Tommy Dreamer and The Great Muta in Philly at the 2300 Arena. The very venue that was once the ECW Arena, the very venue that Tommy Dreamer spilled his blood, sweat and tears. Then you have one of the most iconic and legendary figures in all of pro wrestling, The Great Muta.

Having competed over the past several decades all over the world, The Great Muta is a mystifying adversary for anyone even in 2019. From the land of the Rising Sun, complete with his signature mist and lightening quick elbow, The Great Muta is still someone athletes today study and try to emulate inside a wrestling ring.

The Great Muta will look to put on a display on Saturday, June 8th in Philly. Imagine what Muta might have to pull out against someone like Johnny IMPACT. The comparison could be made that Johnny IMPACT has been heavily influenced in his career by someone like The Great Muta and they will meet in this tag team match that will truly be once in a lifetime for all four men. Don't miss it on Saturday, June 8th on IMPACT+.

A new interview with Kip Sabian is below.

WWE NXT results from Coral Gables, Florida are below. (WO)

* Humberto Carrillo defeated Humberto Garza Jr.
* Aliyah & Vanessa Borne defeated Xia Li & Karen Q
* Eric Bugenhagen defeated Riddick Moss (w/ Robert Strauss). Dan Matha interfered, which set up the next match.
* Tyler Breeze & Eric Bugenhagen defeated Dan Matha & Riddick Moss (w/ Robert Strauss)
* Punishment Martinez defeated Kona Reeves
* Kushida defeated Luke Menzies
* NXT Women's Championship: Shayna Baszler (c) defeated Jessie Elaban
* Velveteen Dream & Matt Riddle def. Forgotten Sons (Steve Cutler & Wesley Blake)

In this interview Matt Riddle says William Regal didn't like being called BRO: "He said, 'How dare you disrespect me,' and I said, 'What do you mean?' He got all carried away, but that was years ago, Me and Regal now have a much better and respectful relationship, and I call him 'Bro' all the time, and he understands where I'm coming from now, and we're better people for it."

Here Joey Ryan talks about equality in pro wrestling: "I mean it's definitely something I've lived by my whole life, whether it's in wrestling or in any other part of the world. Not only in inter-gender but sexuality or race, I try to treat everyone as equals and I try to promote everyone as equals. The more I got into wrestling, I noticed a lot of the promotions didn't treat female wrestlers equally and a lot of them got misused or mishandled. Especially seeing it with Candice, seeing her struggles, it really opened my eyes on stuff that needed to be said in wrestling."

In this interview Roman Reigns talks about working both Raw and SmackDown: "It's not easy. It's tough work. It takes special people to do this kind of stuff. I'm cut from a different fabric. I've always been someone who can handle this type of workload. To be honest, I feel good. We're all human and we all want to feel needed. If I'm here to help the team and that's my role, then that's what I'm going to do. I was out so I wanted to get back and help the team. So if that's what's needed out of me I'll do everything to the best of my ability to get the job done."

Last night's AEW Buy In pre-show is below.

In addition new WWE related videos are below.

In this interview Dustin Rhodes talked about his WWE Fastlane match with his brother Cody: "We were given the match at Fastlane (2015) and it was a sh*t match. I wasn't happy with it. Cody wasn't happy with it. It's not what we wanted. Dad was there but he was having some health issues and he wasn't into it like he was into Cody and I being tag team champions against The Shield and him being with his boys. But I know right now Pops is grinning ear to ear and very proud of Cody and both his boys."

The next AEW show in Chicago will be called All Out.

Awesome Kong and the Super Smash Bros. both made surprise debuts for AEW last night. Adam Page won the pre-show battle royale to earn a world title shot.

Mick Foley will watch wrestling with you (and up to 10 friends) IF you donate $5,000 in one shot to the fundraiser for Ashley Massaro's daughter.

Bret Hart introduced AEW's world title at Double or Nothing last night.
