Sat. #2 is HERE. To help out subscribe to Mistah MegaManFan or support us on Patreon. Don't miss all of today's news updates! With the cheap plugs out of the way here's Sunday's latest wrestling news.

In a statement to social media Alex Shelley (sort of) explained why he missed Hard to Kill's main event: "There are certain things in life that are just out of our control, and unfortunately, my ability to compete at Hard to Kill has been dropped into that bucket. So, on that note, I owe an apology to Chris Sabin. I owe one to Rich Swann. I owe one to the fans, and I owe a receipt to The Good Brothers and Kenny Omega. I don't like getting beat up by you, but I've accepted that that's happened multiple times, and I was looking forward to returning the favor. You'll get that in the mail, you'll keep the yellow copy. I assure everyone out there, I don't have COVID. I am not orthopedically injured, but in the interest in safety, my situation is a very complex one. I put that first, as does Impact management, and they are doing the most in terms of precautions to make sure nobody is at risk at Hard to Kill or going forward. However, as a transient figure in pro wrestling, I promise you that no matter what I'll be back in Impact. You can count on that."

Here Chris Bey talks about the crossover between Impact Wrestling and All Elite Wrestling: "I feel the same way all the fans feel. I feel excited about it. It's very exciting. It's a great time to be a wrestling fan. I always like feel it's a good time to be a wrestling fan. Especially since I've gotten in the business. I just feel like things have just been, every year, just stacking and stacking and stacking and companies are rising and rising and rising and places like AEW come and they just build and build and build. All this younger crop of talent, this person's nineteen, this person's twenty, this person's twenty-one, and they're just amazing performers. Everything's just getting incredible, bro. I just think it's a great time to be a performer, a great time to be a fan. You just don't know what's going to happen next."

Daivari (Shawn Daivari) will make his debut on Fusion this week. (MLW)

The overnight SmackDown rating according to ShowBuzzDaily.com was a 0.60 18-49 demo and 2.153 million viewers. That's up from a 0.56 and 2.120 last week if the numbers hold -- or they could even improve a bit.

Former WWE & NWA Women's Champion Jazz will be part of this week's Impact Wrestling tapings in Nashville. (PWI)

Speaking of Impact, Taylor Wilde talks about the state of the Knockouts Division: "I'm excited to see Havok and Nevaeh. Nevaeh's always been someone who has strengths in tag team wrestling and tag divisions haven't really existed for women exclusively outside of IMPACT really, so it's interesting to see the angle she takes because from what I know about her on the independents, Nevaeh and Havok are real talent enhancers and they've really helped change the trajectory of women's wrestling on the independents. I'm excited to see what they can do with up-and-comers and the staples of the company. I love seeing 'what's old is new again and what's new is old' because it's very reminiscent of when I was last there and the Knockouts had a very important role on the show. It feels like we're getting closer and closer to where we were before the 'Hogan invasion.'"

In addition Deaner talks about getting serious in Impact: "I have something to prove. I have proven that I can make people laugh and I can make people smile. I'm proud of that because not everyone can do that. That is a skill that is not appreciated enough in professional wrestling. Being able to entertain people in a certain way, in a funny way and make them smile and enjoy what they're watching, it's a very specific skill set. Unfortunately, if we're talking the truth, that skill set does not make you a whole lot of money. You don't make a lot of money and you're not a top guy. There's never been a top guy in the business where all they ever do is just comedy. There's a lot of top guys that can make people laugh, but they have a lot of other things they can do as well. They can make you feel all types of emotions, and I am that guy. I'm a top guy that can make the audience feel more than just the fuzzies on the inside. I can make them feel a whole range of emotions and it's time for me to prove that because I have that ability and I wasn't able to show that before. That doesn't mean I'm not proud of the fact that I can do that, but now it's time to prove something and show that I have more to offer than to just make people smile."

Nyla Rose came into contact with someone who had COVID-19 and will miss this week's AEW Dynamite as a precaution.

Here Kiera Hogan tells Sports Illustrated she wants to help LBGTQIA kids: "I have had the chance to speak to kids in the LGBTQ community, and that means the world to me. I was once one of those kids, so I have an idea what they're going through. Coming out is a challenge for every individual. There have been times in my life when I was made to feel that being gay was wrong. That can cause trauma. I was very hesitant about coming out, but it has made me stronger and more confident in myself because I'm able to accept myself. I want to be me 100%. I'm not going to hide. If people don't like it, that's on them."

Coincidentally Kiera Hogan & Tasha Steelz won the Knockouts Tag Team Titles at Hard to Kill last night. Their team name is Fire N' Flayva. (IW)
