Mick FoleyIn this interview Mick Foley says he was never a fan of being Mankind: "I hated that character because the mask was so... It really constricted my breathing, you know? With the leather underneath the nose. I needed as much oxygen as I could suck in anyway. But it came about because Jim Ross was a big advocate of mine, and Mr. McMahon was never interested in me. He thought I didn't look like a star. And finally, my name came up in 1995, in the fall, he slammed it on the table, and he said, 'Alright, I'll bring him in, but I'm covering up his face.' And that's how I got my foot in the door, and luckily, as time went by, he kind of found out I had an interesting real-life story to tell."

Here Mercedes Martinez explains why she didn't want to be part of RETRIBUTION: "To be honest, the RETRIBUTION pitch was not pitched to me. Well, if we want to get real because I'm a straight shooter, I always have been and I don't like to beat around the bush here. It was a concept of maybe they wanted me on as part of RETRIBUTION. It was, you know how everyone was kind of going in, they had all the extras when there was a big mob of everyone under hoods. That whole big thing when they finally were trying to figure out the core group. I was still fresh off the storyline with Rhea Ripley. You know, we just came off the cage match. I said I can't do anything with RETRIBUTION because I don't know anything about it. I don't know what the concept is. I want more information was my deal. I wanted to make sure that if I was going to be part of this stable, I want to make sure morally that this is something that I want to be behind. Is it going to affect me in my career? Is this going to affect my legacy? Is it going to affect my personal life morally? I just made it to WWE, like this is your opportunity to be on the main roster, but is it the right opportunity to be on the main roster was a question that was in the back of my head. It was like a lot of people say, 'Take it, take it. take it,' you know? I really spoke to so many people on this for advice and suggestions just to try to figure out where I can go. So it was kind of a decision that I made right on the spot because I felt it in my heart that it had to be made right then and there. So when they revealed us as RETRIBUTION, that first time they revealed us on camera on Raw when Mia (Yim) cut her promo, that was pretty much my last day. It was pretty much like, 'I can't do this.'"

In this interview Bronson Reed (JONAH) talks about his post-WWE career: "Well, I'm not at liberty to say exactly what's going to happen, but I am at the moment, this week, getting everything confirmed with immigration, so everything should be good to go, wherever I do go. But basically, I feel like the last few years exposed me to the rest of the world. People got to see what Bronson Reed had to offer but not really what JONAH had to offer. I was very much set in a mold of what WWE wanted me to be, so going forward, it's more what I myself want to be as JONAH. So I'm looking to have some pretty cool matches and fun matches, a little different to what I did in WWE."

Via social media Danhausen provided an injury update: "Danhausen has a broken Tibia and Fibia and is sure Dave Doctor is going to try to take Danhausens sacks of money." All the best to Danhausen on his injury recovery going forward.

According to this report AEW is planning a TNT "Battle of the Belts" special for January 8th.

The last Impact Wrestling did 100,000 viewers and a 0.03 18-49 demo, up from 93,000 and 0.02 the week before. (SBD)

The Dark Side of the Ring season finale about the Vince McMahon steroid trials did 154,000 viewers, up from 109,000 the week before, but the 18-49 demo stayed the same at 0.05. (SBD)

1:00 PM ET. Kazuchika Okada explains why he brought back the old IWGP Heavyweight Title: "That belt has always been important to me, and that there is my connection to Ibushi while I wait for him to come back. He retired that belt, and it isn't being used right now, so why not? In the past, G1 winners have had a briefcase, I'll have a belt. I'm not calling myself the IWGP Champion, but I'll have that belt until Ibushi comes back."

Via social media Filthy Tom Lawlor confirmed that he is now a free agent.

4:00 PM ET. Rok-C talks about The Rock: "One of my favorite wrestlers was The Rock. I was a fan of him since his movies and I didn't know what professional wrestling was. Then I got into professional wrestling and I was like, 'What?' Yeah. I found out because of The Rock. My dad was flipping through the channels once and saw The Rock was doing a promo or something. I was like, 'Wait, what? That's The Rock. What is he doing?' Then I just sat through the rest of the show and I was hooked."

Angel Garza talks about being drafted to SmackDown: "When we were looking at the draft, we did not know a thing about where we were going, we were just in the locker rooms looking at what was happening. We noticed that Rey & Dominik went to Raw and saw Zelina move too and we thought SmackDown is staying without Latinos, and 2 things were going to happen: or we were getting drafted over there or Damian (Priest) was leaving Raw. Us two (him & Humberto) were with Damian and we were saying 'or you leave or we leave' and then we saw Damian was drafted to Raw and we were 99% certain we were going to SmackDown because there were no Latinos at the moment. When we saw our names for SmackDown, we went 'we from here now' and it was a surprise. Like for everyone watching at home, we did not expect to be drafted to SmackDown."

WWE will hold a WrestleMania 38 on sale party in Dallas on Nov. 10th, two days before the general on sale date of Nov. 12th. (WWE)

Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair will open Raw tonight. (WWE)

Doudrop talks about being called up to the WWE main roster: "So I found I was going to be on main roster. I think it was something I think it was March 1, I got the phone call. And it was a really, really quick turnaround like I was I found out March 1, and then I was on the plane to America, maybe March 20. It was super fast. But I actually didn't end up on main roster for quite a few months, just because of getting things ready and obviously working with Eva and like things had to coincide. So it took a while but like because of COVID and stuff like that I was going to happy just to get to regular training. That was fine for me."

NJPW Road to Power Struggle night eight results are below. (FF)

* Kosei Fujita vs. Yuto Nakashima went to a time limit draw

Preston "10" Vance talks about his relationship with QT Marshall: "I started at the Monster Factory in New Jersey in 2015 and (QT) was one of the assistant coaches there, and that's where I met him. He's been my coach since the very first time I ever stepped in the ring, QT was there. So, I've known him forever. I've never seen someone be able to break down wrestling like he does and explain it to these kids who have never been in a ring before. He is a wealth of knowledge, and me and him have very similar personalities. He's a cool dude, he's one of my best friends. He was a coach. Damien Priest, who's now with WWE, Matt Riddle was there when I was there, Nick Comoroto was there when I was there, so we had a pretty talented crop of guys all in one place."

Jeff Cobb is returning to MLW for the Nov. 6th tapings.

Lita (Amy Dumas) talks about mental health: "October is Mental Health Month. It just seemed like the perfect time to start this initiative. With professional wrestling, the whole exterior is to be tough and not show pain when you're not in the match, to not show pain physically, but to also extend that to not show pain mentally. So we just started this conversation amongst ourselves with friends in the business and said, 'Okay, we need to smash that. We need to break open that and not make it a taboo subject.' I think it needs to extend on both sides, both physically and mentally, to go, 'Yeah, that did hurt.' Because that's the whole thing and wrestling to go, 'Are you okay? Did you know that hurt?' And you're like, 'No, no, I'm good. I'm good.' So that also extends to mentally. I think it's just trying to maintain that superhero exterior among anybody but your most inner circle. I think it's as we talk and open this discussion, we realize that we all have a lot more in common or maybe have down days that it would have been nice for someone to check in on or felt more comfortable to go, 'Yeah, I'm just kind struggling today, or I'm not feeling my best and have somebody go, let's talk about it, or I'm also not feeling great and not just knowing that other people that you perceive as being so invincible and fearless and strong have these days that they don't feel those things.'"

5:00 PM ET.The last AEW Rampage jumped from 533,000 to 623,000 viewers, and also rose from a 0.22 to a 0.25 18-49 demo. (Wrestlenomics)

Speaking of ratings, the SmackDown episode that got bumped to FS1 because of the World Series did 1.032 million viewers and a 0.29 18-49 demo. (Wrestlenomics) What's funny is that this did BETTER than the show they loaded up to go head to head with Rampage for a half hour overrun, and that show lost the 18-49 demo battle. I guess that proves that when it comes to WWE, doing nothing is better than trying.

Former NXT wrestler Leon Ruff will make his GCW debut on November 12th.
