Thurs. #1 is HERE. To help out the site subscribe to Mistah MegaManFan or support us on Patreon. With the cheap plugs out of the way here's Thursday's latest wrestling news.

Jake AtlasJake Atlas apparently hurt his knee doing a springboard during a match with Adam Cole being taped for AEW Rampage. He was unable to get in positions for a Panama Sunrise afterward so Cole tapped him out with a submission. He's scheduled for a MRI to find out the severity of the injury. (PWI)

There are conflicting reports on the injury Rey Fenix suffered on Dynamite last night. It's possible that he has a dislocated elbow (PWI) but it's also possible that he has a broken arm. (WO) He too will have a MRI to find out how bad his injury is.

New WWE related videos are available below.

In addition new AEW Dynamite videos are available below.

Jeff Cobb also appears to have suffered a knee injury at night two of Wrestle Kingdom 16. (PWI)

"Little Poppa Pump" Petey Williams has reportedly signed a full time deal to be a WWE producer after a tryout for the last few months. (FF) I hope he didn't move to Orlando for the job.

Nick Aldis discusses why NWA Powerrr was behind a paywall for a while: "We were in a position at that point where we weren't funded by a giant organization or someone with endless resources. Obviously, Billy has committed his own substantial personal wealth to fund this thing. As a fledgling promotion in the position we were in, it was very hard to accept that we were going to have to slow the momentum down. Ultimately, the decision was made for survival. Billy and I, from day one of our relationship, we believed that the NWA has a place and that it was going to take time. We never believed in trying to hot shot anything or trying to make a big loud noise or jump in because the resources would be impossible to go toe to toe with the giants that were doing that. We wanted to protect our USP and slowly but surely build a strong and loyal fanbase and the NWA fan has been that. To do that, we need the eyeballs."

From AEW.

Alex Abrahantes is part of the AEW Spanish broadcast team and the manager of the former AEW World Tag Team Champs, Lucha Brothers! Alex speaks to his AEW journey, his evolution as manager of the Lucha Brothers, the charisma of Rey Fenix and Penta, and the importance of creating excitement before their matches. He also shares the origins of "Penta Says," Penta's match against Cody Rhodes which resulted in Penta's first-ever promo for AEW DYNAMITE, and Alex's superhero-style pose in their entrance. Alex tells stories about his introduction to wrestling, training in Calgary with the Harts, his first-ever match, and his transition to broadcasting. Plus, Alex reveals the book that changed his life, what inspired him to start his YouTube show, "All Elite Soup," and how he started toy hunting with All Ego Ethan Page.

ALEX ABRAHANTES QUOTES:

On Penta El Cero M:

"Penta's all about passion and excitement, and when you see him, you just automatically get amped up because the guy is just pure charisma."

On the Lucha Brothers' entrance:

"As I gained my confidence in kind of figuring out this character, of who this version of Alex is, it became a little bit more absurd and a little bit more ridiculous, and now I give everything I got with that Zero Miedo. And it's just magical with that pyro and the crowd. It will never, ever get old."

Bill Goldberg says he's open to more WWE matches when his current deal (one match left) expires. "I'm focused on what's next. If they want to come back to me with something, we'll talk. You never know what the future holds."

Gabe Sapolsky has confirmed he's among the latest round of WWE releases.

5:00 PM ET. Samuray del Sol says COVID-19 almost killed him last year.

Roman Reigns appears to be fully recovered from his bout of COVID-19 as he's been medically cleared to appear on SmackDown tomorrow. (WWE)

Ted DiBiase (Sr.), IRS and Marina Shafir have been added to WrestleCon 2022.

6:00 PM ET. Cody Rhodes says the flaming table spot in Atlanta was dumb: "I'm going to try and keep my language somewhat clean, but (that was) maybe the dumbest thing I've ever done But man, it was cool. Dumb, but also what a good image, in terms of just that's how we do Dynamite. That specific incident wasn't so much about topping myself, I just hate in wrestling when you'll hear, 'Oh, it's a street fight. It's a Tupelo Falls Count Anywhere match or whatever,' and then it's just Basic Betty, it's checking boxes versus actually taking that level of danger into account. And that's what I wanted to do. I wanted to make sure people know that, if there's a Street Fight on AEW, it's a Street Fight. It's going to leave you with a lasting memory and, ultimately, I think we did that."

WWE interviewer Sarah Schreiber is now engaged to Chad Dunbar. Congratulations!

Good news for Rey Fenix as well -- his arm is not broken, but his elbow is dislocated. (PWI) Best of two bad options since he'd be out a whole lot longer with a broken bone.

Baron Black says the original plan was to launch TERMINUS last November.

Bruce Prichard says he had "Montezuma's Revenge" and not COVID-19.

Thunder Rosa is happy Mercedes Martinez is in AEW: "My head still hurts. She hits hard. It's great. I think we need more veterans that are able to guide the young, new talent that we still have. The learning curve is so big in our division because we have a lot of people who have been in this business less than ten years. Like it or not, there's a lot of stuff that we all still need to learn and she is a book of knowledge."

WALTER is officially making the jump from NXT UK to full time WWE NXT 2.0. (WWE)

This week's Dynamite did 1.01 million viewers, up from 975,000 last week. The show also did a 0.43 18-49 demo, up from 0.37, and all of this should be commended since the show moved from TNT to TBS and didn't lose viewers. (Wrestlenomics)

Even though it hasn't officially been announced yet, the next WWE show in Saudi Arabia will apparently be on February 19th. (FF)

For those interested here's a new Bron Breakker interview.
