Tues. #1 is HERE. To help out the site subscribe to Mistah MegaManFan or support us on Patreon. With the cheap plugs out of the way here's Tuesday's latest wrestling news.

Cain VelasquezAAA Lucha Libre wrestler and former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez has been arrested for attempted murder and is being held without bail in the Santa Clara County Jail. One man was taken to the hospital with non-threatening life injuries after an incident at Monterey Highway and Bailey Avenue close to the American Kickboxing Academy. As Dave Meltzer put it, "One person is in jail and one person is in the hospital, so that pretty much tells you who did the shooting." When we have more information we'll update the story.

Randy Orton may have suffered a shoulder injury after Montez Ford gave him a frog splash on Raw last night. No further details are currently available and of course he COULD have just been selling for the crowd.

New WWE related videos are available below.

In addition here's a new interview with AEW's QT Marshall.

Here's the updated lineup for NXT 2.0 tonight. (WWE)

* North American Title Match: Carmelo Hayes (c) vs. Pete Dunne
* Bron Breakker & Tommaso Ciampa vs. The Dirty Dogs
* Gunther vs. Solo Sikoa
* Harland vs. Draco Anthony
* Von Wagner vs. Andre Chase

Jon Moxley vs. Biff Busick has been booked for Bloodsport 8.

Matt Hardy talks about DQ finishes: "I definitely, 100% agree that WWE overdoes DQs, without a doubt. There are times where you could either put heat on the heels and have some other heels interfere or you can have a great kickass match where the babyface valiantly overcomes the heel. And then you can have the heel always do something to get heat on him after the fact if you want to continue the story. They're just done a lot of times for protection, to keep people strong, or to continue a story. Once again, I feel like fans are so knowledgeable about the wrestling product in 2022, they want to see a clean finish and they want to feel like they're being rewarded for watching this angle or story, and they want to be paid a proper finish."

Booker T talks about diversity in AEW: "Me personally, it's really hard for me to criticize a company that's only been in existence for three years. One thing about this sport, just being real, it's always been dominated, as far as wrestling talent goes, by white guys. White girls. I always have this argument with people as far as when I was doing it, I was one of the few black guys who was in this sport and doing it at a certain level. I kind of slipped on a banana peel and found professional wrestling. When I found it, I tried to open doors for the Big Es and Bobby Lashleys of the world. When you come from the neighborhood, especially back in the day, professional wrestling is the last form of entertainment as far as our way out. It's gonna be football, it's gonna be basketball, it's gonna be rapping, it's gonna be something other than professional wrestling. But when kids saw Booker T doing it, they thought, 'Man, this might be the way out, so we're gonna start gravitating toward professional wrestling.'"

Here's a press release from A&E and WWE.

A&E AND WWE EXPAND ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING MULTI-YEAR PARTNERSHIP WITH MORE THAN 130 NEW HOURS

NEW SEASONS OF THE ACCLAIMED 'BIOGRAPHY: WWE LEGENDS' STRAND AND THE HIT ORIGINAL SERIES 'WWE'S MOST WANTED TREASURES' TO BEGIN PRODUCTION

NETWORK GREENLIGHTS NEW SERIES 'WWE RIVALS' (working title) AND MORE

New York, NY - March 1, 2022 - A&E and WWE (NYSE: WWE) today announced a multi-year expansion of their successful programming partnership with the commissioning of more than 130 new hours of premium WWE-themed series and specials to air exclusively on A&E platforms and to be distributed worldwide by A+E Networks.

The multi-platform partnership includes 35 new episodes of the genre-defining, Emmy-award winning franchise "Biography," featuring documentaries on legends of WWE. Last year's "Biography: WWE Legends" episodes drove "Biography" to become A&E's most-watched series in 2021. WWE is also beginning production on 24 new episodes of the original series "WWE's Most Wanted Treasures," which will air over multiple seasons. The first season of "WWE's Most Wanted Treasures" was A&E's most-watched new series of last year.

A&E has also ordered 40 hours of the new series, "WWE Rivals" (working title). "WWE Rivals" (w.t.) will chronicle the little-known stories behind the biggest clashes in WWE history. The episodes will include revelatory insights from those who were a part of the rivalries that often extended far beyond the ring and the cameras.

Additional hours of original programming are currently in development as well.

"The collaboration between these two powerhouse brands has already proven to resonate with audiences and we look forward to working together to create premium content with broad appeal," said Elaine Frontain Bryant, Executive Vice President and Head of Programming for A&E. "WWE's incredible fanbase and talent roster are a great complement to A&E's unique brand of in-depth storytelling that take fans behind the curtain and we are thankful to the entire WWE team for their partnership."
"A&E is an amazing partner with an impressive lineup of signature series across its networks," said Nick Khan, WWE President. "The expansion of our partnership will allow us to continue creating a massive slate of new content with a trusted partner, while further establishing A&E as a destination for WWE fans for years to come."

Through in-depth films helmed by some of the industry's top directors and storytellers, "Biography" continues its focus on meaningful events and personalities as well as their impact on our culture. Through new and archival interviews and never-before-seen footage, each film will give fans an in-depth look at the early lives, rise to fame and careers of some of the most influential stars in WWE history.

"WWE's Most Wanted Treasures" takes viewers on a journey to find some of WWE's most iconic, lost memorabilia. In each episode, WWE Superstars and Legends investigate, negotiate, bid and travel across the country to unearth rare items in the hopes of preserving and sharing the legacy behind the memorable moments in WWE history.

Here's what Dave Meltzer had to say about Johnny Gargano: "Don't expect him in AEW in the next month or so. I know people were expecting it any week now."

On the internal run sheets Edge and Damian Priest are now listed as "heels" in WWE. (PWI)
